News From The Ranchview Band

Dear Ranchview Parents and Students,

Summer Band Is Coming!

We are very close to the start of summer band. We hope you are excited to begin a new marching season! Summer band camp will begin on July 30th and will last until August 10th from 8am to 4pm. We continue our summer rehearsals on August 13th through August 16th with practices going from 5pm to 8pm each day. On August 17th, we will have our very first Ranchview Band Preview and Family night. This is chance for our parents to come out and see what we have been working on for the past three weeks and to give you a preview of this years marching show. Please go on our calendar page on our band website for more information on the summer band camp schedule.

We Have a New Website

We have brand new Ranchview High School Band website. The address is still the same ( We hope you will find this brand new site useful throughout the year. We will be updating the site regularly throughout the 2018-2019 school year and we hope that this site will have all the information you will ever need about our program.

Interesting new features include a brand new Google based calendar, football game and contest schedules (complete with maps to the sites, itineraries, and dates), announcement page for up to date information, and a new media page with pictures, videos, and music to download. All-Region and NEW Show Music Available on New Website

On our brand new website, we have a page available to download the latest music we will be working on throughout the year. We already have music available to download including this years all-region audition music for every instrument. This is a great way to get started on the music early before your auditions in December. You will also find scale sheets, and our new fundamental warm up exercises we will be using during our rehearsals.

We also have newly updated show music for every student. We have made a few changes to the show. Please go to to find the newly updated show music. This page is password protected due to copyright laws. The password is “wolfpackband”

2018 Ranchview Band Marching Show

The title to our marching show this year will be called “How Does Your Garden Grow?” This year’s marching show will have a garden theme complete with props, amazing music, and awesome visuals that will surely entertain our audience. You can find more details to the show on our new show page on the Ranchview band website.

On our marching show page ( you will find links to each part in the show. Under each link we will have videos of the drill for each part of the show, the show drill to download, and many more items that we will add later throughout the year. We also have an audio section where you can download an audio version of the show. Right now, you can see a preview of Part 1. We have a video of what the first 12 sets will look like.
